banana
1 piece of whole wheat bread
1 salt packet + Powerade
400 MG caffeine
This was the very best 10 mile stretch I've ever run. The perfect run — sunny and a breeze that reminded me of running at Gulf Shores along the beach. I started around 8:45 right out of the blocks and it just kept getting easier! Had to continually pull back as my legs wanted to run an 8:25 – 8:35 pace.
My Race Theme: LIVE THE MILE. (In Indy I ran through the miles to get to the next one. In the Pig I want to really experience every mile and enjoy the mile I'm in rather than just trying to get through it.
Final prep week:

Stretch: IT band, foot (planter fasciitis), quads
