Alright this makes me feel better. Felt pretty good overall on this one. Did 4 "MP" miles to test the waters a little more. Achilles was fine, other stuff was generally good. Really tried to focus on the wind, letting up when it was at my face and cruising when I couldn't feel it aka at my back. GUed up on 4.5 and 9 just for more practice, I think I'll shoot for that frequency for the marathon. Honestly more encouraging than the MP miles were the miles that came after which felt nice and easy. Felt very fresh for the rest of the day which was pretty cool, even though it wasn't a crazy run by any stretch.
