9 on my own and then 3 with Ronnie and purpy. Was planning an easy 16 but had some pain at the Achilles tendon insertion point, same as yesterday on the cool-down. Thing is it only hurts when pressure is applied to it, so I was able to mitigate by cutting the back of an old pair of shoes open (tried for a hole first but had to go more than that). It worked well enough aside from the fact that the shoe kept gradually sliding off but it was easy enough to "kick" back on every so often. But I figured it wasn't smart to do a whole LR since I knew I was probably doing weird things with my foot to help keep the shoe on. I think wearing new shoes on the race might have been the culprit (though was I feeling something on the warmup? I can't remember)... there's a small bump but it's not a blister, maybe a little bursitis. As of today (Monday) it already feels much better so maybe one more awkward pressure-free run to be safe (since it's recovery Monday) and then hopefully it becomes the next non-issue in the list of small issues I keep causing.

4.5ish to the track, 2.5ish without shoes on the grass on the inside of the track (not great footing but at least it was mostly soft), then 2 home to rendezvous with Ronnie and purpy for 3 (which actually involved some occasional sprinting since we'd fall behind on every purpy bathroom/barking break!).
