Back to back workouts are the FUTURE!
Actually, this probably just went well because of the weather (75 and fairly dry) and maybe too long rests, but the book didn't specify what the rests should be and I didn't think to look at an old WO. Was probably fine, but I should have at least made the final 200jog as part of the 3min rather than in addition to. Ah well, I'm positive I could have done it with shorter rest.
Anyway, felt smooth as butter. This workout was somewhat daunting because of the workout yesterday and because I haven't done any rep longer than a 1600 so far. But as soon as I got moving, it blew by. The first 4800 was perfect in my opinion... 5:42-5:40-5:38. Then, walked 200 and got going on the 200s that felt like strides. Took my time on the recovery jogs and waited an extra ~15-20s to round out the rest at 90s between, walked another 200 after, then into the 3200. Came around quick but after the 200s, felt like a jog... just never really got any harder so the pace didn't slow. It probably should have been a little slower, and honestly the 200s too by a hair, but with no race until next week I'm not worried if this wasn't a perfect T pace WO. Felt great, though.
