Treadmill this time because it was storming... rain's ok but storms are a no no. Went back to GL2s because I've got them on hand and I think I'm not too fond of the Zantes anymore. Might not be their fault but my right foot is hurting just a little bit now, inside arch... not really painful, but after runs it does this unpleasant almost creaking feeling when I curl my toes. Surprise surprise, a little googling says it's possibly due to an overworked tibialis posterior muscle, which would go hand in hand with Achilles pain. I don't know if the Zantes have made things worse, but they haven't made them better. Considering going to a high drop shoe in this "healing/strengthening" phase (after all, JML says he's been Achilles pain-free after going to the Pegasus), though I'm wary of giving them a crutch. However, it makes sense that if I'm adding in additional exercises that are stressing it more, I might want to do what I can to reduce stress while I'm running until I can build it up a little more and hopefully work through these imbalances. That is, if you believe that a high drop shoe works Achilles less... Worth a shot I suppose. Shouldn't be a huge deal, I mean Zantes aren't exactly minimal at a 6mm drop, but might try a pair of 1400s @ 10mm and see what happens.

Anyway, this one was fine.
