Felt good today, much better, legs had some kick in them. First set actually felt the toughest, maybe just mentally though. Best 2-2-4 workout yet (though in fairness, slow jogs), only first one was off because we were caught off guard by the wind. Good lift too, despite the boundless lack of imagination from the Three Stooges.

ALSO, I don't think I like my new shoes. I figured that they'd be fine as they were the replacement for the Phoenix in Asics's line, but something about them isn't great. I just know that since I've been wearing them, I've developed some soreness in my Achilles and aches in my arch. Those could be training issues, but the last few weeks have been pretty light, so my guess would be the shoes. Thing is, if the Phoenix isn't made anymore, I'm probably going to have to make the switch to another shoe sometime, so maybe it's best to wait a few more days and see if I adjust a little better. Obviously no really worrisome pain, but I just want things to feel a little better. Soreness usually only on the beginnings of runs, otherwise a bit walking around.
