Ok what the hell is this. Either the bike path maps aren't accurate, I mapped incorrectly, or I just ran the shittiest tempo. The effort was definitely there and at times I even wondered if I was pushing too hard for a tempo. Huh, I really don't know what to make of this. Let's call it... the "altitude?"

Well, disregarding the shit pace for now, did a tempo instead of 400s, again at Coach's recommendation for a less explosive effort on the hamstring. Hamstring held up well, stride felt a little off still and the run wasn't devoid of a few funky steps, but overall, much improvement from the last workout. (Well, or so I thought until I mapped.) Some strides after that I'd call around 3k-5k pace because anything above started to feel a little iffy. Overall I think today was definitely a step in the right direction. heatrollstretchicestretch pt1 time.

well, lets call today steady and lets find a track and run a 5:40 mile, 2 min rest, a 5:30 mile, 2 min rest and then 2x800 @ 2:40 and 2:35 w/ 2 mn rest and see how the hamstring feels...

You had a stressful day yesterday, I am guessing your body was just a little flat which caused the feeling of going fast....no worries

This has got to be one of the most popular logs of ALL TIME
