Notes
Know first mile was 7:45 and last 7:30 so seems like a fair pace. About a 5/2 split between trails and roads. Started on the road, went to the dirt road that leads to Bushy Park gate, flipped there and got on the trail, went a little past Mary's Landing and flipped back to the grass hunter short cut, then back on the road. Kept it very easy. For SCIENCE I decided to see how it would feel to put my work shoe inserts into my running shoes. Since they're only 3/4 inserts it felt like high heels to start (I assume), though luckily these Hokas only have a 2mm drop in the first place. Can't say that they significantly helped or hurt just based on that run. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow for another data point.
