OOOOOOOOOOOOF. This one hurt! So THAT'S what a post-race long run feels like... been a while...

There's definitely a margin of error on the map/pace because of Peeble's but if I was going to go by feel, I would have logged this around 6:50 so I feel decently confident with it. Since I wanted to be in the low 80s this week, I chose to stay closer to 13 than to 15+, though if I had been feeling good I would have been fine with the extra two miles. Ran with Rob, Jake, Bobby, Sean, Brian, and Aldous to Peeble's Island. Hamstrings were SORE, calves not great... with how decent my legs felt after the race yesterday, I was hoping today would be smooth sailing... nope, haha. Did well enough, though. Rob, Brian and I would accordion it sometimes but we were hardly ever more than a few steps behind and I think our pace was more consistent anyway. We got to the bottom at Sage at 89 so the 90 group decided GOOD ENOUGH and walked the steep part (.22 miles on the map) before resuming running for about 4 more minutes to get to ECAV. Little embarrassed that this run took so much out of me but at least it seemed most people were in the same boat (too bad they all ran much faster than me yesterday!).

JML found my achilles spot problem! Pretty jazzed about that

Also, while yesterday wasn't a PR, it still beats every collegiate track performance of mine according to Purdy (minus the 3k TT of course)
