Notes

Treated today as a speed development day. Figure what I may have lost in strength since the last armory trip, I can maybe make up for in speed. Again, still no track, so mapped something on the roads. It might be a hair short if RA rounded up, but I think that balances out with having to swing wider than mapped thanks to snow and slush and avoiding potholes, etc., plus a slight incline on the first half. HOPEFULLY, because I would like these numbers to be real! Nothing elegant about the workout, plain and simple. Seriously misjudged #1 obviously, wasn't 100% on a 200m split so couldn't gauge off that, and was worried that I would be above 70 for all of these. But dropped way down on #2 and got faster from there. Split up the last 2 into 200s to try to get the legs moving fast for a better kick. Obviously top end speed is lacking but in my defense, I wasn't sure on where to end these without a clear landmark (based it off the 400s). I think I got it about right, though. Honestly, nothing about the workout should be taken absolutely but it's a good relative progression at least. I want to say everything is perfectly accurate but I know mapping has limitations so I'm just trying to work with what I've got.

BOTTOM LINE, it was a good day... not perfect, not amazing, but a good hard day. Rest was jog back (~2:30 after maybe 15s of catching breath right away).

Hopefully! I am always skeptical of mapping such short distances

true i wonder what the +/- is on the accuracy
