30s rest after the first 2, 1 min rest after the next 3
Tough workout with Taylor. He mostly came up with this one, and the goal was to do 6-7 at 3:12/13 with 30s in between the first 4 and 60s after the next couple and hopefully get a little faster on those. After a quick first one we got the pace pretty figured out, but after #3 we moved up to 60s one rep sooner than planned. I started getting ishy on #5 and had already put in 5K of goal pace work (goal pace as in my goal if I were to hop out there right now and race), so I jumped in the last 600 of Taylor's last two.
The pace wasn't as much the problem as was the rest. Taylor is a beast still, wish I had enough to do all 7 with him but I'm not quite there yet. He went 3:06 3:04 3:02 for his last 3. Would like to be in better shape right now seeing as I'd want to be doing the pace I did for the first 5 for a straight 5K, but I guess it's still early yet.
