2x15min tempo with 2min rest

First part on the track... actually did 2.5 miles in 14:18 and stopped there because I like round miles, whateva. Went 5:41, 5:45, 2:52... definitely did a better job of controlling the pace compared to last time. Felt more like a tempo effort.

Went on the roads for the second part after a 3 minute rest (not 2, DON'T TELL COACH) because I feel like I'm babying myself doing tempos on the track. There were some slow parts in there, especially on the hills, but ultimately... not too bad, surprised myself a little with the pace when I measured it out. My loop finished in 13:55 (for 2.45), so I said mothereffin good enough.

Wasn't easy but a pretty quality workout, especially considering I had no idea what to expect after yesterday's blah-ness. Cheated the workout a little bit today again but if you take out the rest, I ran an 8K faster than my PR.

Too bad races don't have rests...
