Down to the wire! Nothing to do now but show up with Achilles as good as possible. The good ol easy race week workout. Nice weather, much better than yesterday. First one felt ok, nothing special, but the next two felt great. Those two faster than tempo but I think there's little harm in that. 200s were alright, kept them relaxed. Achilles was no problemo during the WO but a little annoying warming up and cooling down, but that's the norm. Would of course like it to be better going into the weekend but I also don't see it slowing me down short term.
Tried out the new FuzeX Lytes (NOT Gel-FuzeX Lytes despite what RA is forcing me to write). So far, big fan! 0 foot pain on my right foot while using them so hopefully that finally goes away. Would be nice to be using a shoe that's currently being produced again...
