40 min (10 min warm-up, ~25 steady (6:00 to 6:10 as a guide), last mile at tempo (5:29 to 5:34))

Little tricky to map, and I didn't look at my watch when we started the steady portion (it wasn't exactly 10... calling it 10:20 but confirmation desired).

Map's telling me 5:55 pace for the steady (4.22m in 24:55), which is suspicious. Whatever the pace actually was, it's clear that the effort was there for sure. (It would take a big error in either mapping or time to be outside of the range which was only a guide anyway). Joe and I finished with a 5:29 on the track (2:47/2:42). 6 strides after.

Today was pretty tough honestly. The first 8 minutes of the steady were pretty good, but afterwards I had a pretty annoying cramp for a solid chunk of the way back, which isn't usually a problem for me. Was tired by the time I got to the track but we had a strong finish. Joe and I alternated leads which always helps. Legs felt mostly strong, got into a good rhythm for almost all of it.

EDIT: Splitting the difference with Joe's map and calling it 4.16mi for the steady for just sub 6.
