Notes

Good run, felt great. Short "long" run today, making myself cut back a bit... want to run FAST in 6 days! Hilly course but a nice one, slightly more creative than usual. Ran ~7:20 for mile 1 and then I think locked into 6:35-40 pace before slowing a bit going up the S Obtuse hill and then dropping to ~6 pace for the last 2. Aches and pains from yesterday were gone, hooray recovery days!

Looking forward to Saturday, hoping for some great racing weather. I'll be shooting for 15:29 despite my 3k not indicating that last week. I'm hoping for a similar situation to Hamilton 6k/Saratoga 8k, where I ran Saratoga at a faster pace for longer. Granted, that's XC where Hamilton was a hard course and Saratoga is much easier, but all that considered, I still fared better with a longer distance and with a week more specificity and experience... and this time I'll have two! (And I don't expect to run faster than last week)

Anyway, that's just what's on my mind.
