Notes
Took it nice and easy. Legs felt like carp for the first few minutes but then just tired after that. Slowed the pace after 2 and 3, didn't want to see any 6:xx's. Ran 8.5 and then did 8 strides for the last 0.6 to home.
Pretty sure I'm going to do a race tomorrow but going into it with more of a workout mindset a la Roxbury since the past few years have been incredibly weak. It's a "trail run" but it strikes me as less of a trail run and more of a Lake Placid-like XC run, but we'll see, it could run slower than I expect. Just hoping it's marked well enough and I don't look like a tool if I try to go fast because it seems like a tiny race.
