Redid a workout I enjoyed from last year, didn't want to do anything crazy. Kind of a silly workout, but hey, running is running so it's fine. I sure made it sound pretty easy in my log last year, and maybe it was, but maybe I was just being macho and saying that. In case I look back on this log next year, I'm going to be honest and say this didn't feel great. Yes it was manageable, but the 800s didn't feel "silly easy" and the 200s didn't feel "groovy" like they apparently did last year. Though I'm looking back at the garmin file from last year and somehow rests were close to or over a minute longer then so that makes me feel better. Plus my slowest 800 today was faster than my fastest last year (though all but 1 of the ending 200s were slower than the slowest last year). Ultimately that made this year a bit faster overall, and the 200s probably would have been faster if the 800s were slower (and if I was wearing anything but Hokas!). Still, we're talking about 3:20s... nothing special at all.

At the end of the day, it's still an ok day and legs held up fine on the quicker stuff which I was a little nervous about beforehand (not so much Achilles as hammy). Stretches and TPs are working. Felt warm but was reasonably hydrated I guess... didn't need to search for a water fountain like last year!
