OH BABY. Gr8 long run, definitely getting STRONG. Perfect day out there for a long run. Went out there expecting about the same as last week at best so I surprised myself. After mi3 I tried to reign it in a bit since I still had a ways to go, but after 6 pace got dropping again. Saw 6:19 on 10 and thought, "whoa, still 7 to go, let's not get too excited yet" so eased up a bit. Then saw 6:11 on 12, again backed off a bit, but with mi14 under 6:10, decided it was just a good day and rode the 6:0x train home.
Pancake land or not, I still would call this my best long run. Definitely satisfied with today. I think the route was easier mentally this week than last week even though it was several of the same loop, but either way I definitely felt better.
