Saw an orthopedic specialist at a sports medicine firm today. He didn't think it was a partial tear, just tendonitis, so I guess that's all I really needed to hear. He suggested 6 weeks of mild PT but in my stubborn mind, all they have to offer that I can't already get is ultrasound. We'll see but at the moment I'm just planning a long, gradual transition with a ton of exercises.
