That was a tough workout. When I went into the first speedy section of the tempo run, I obviously was going too fast to hold the pace. But I just didn't know when I got into it. I thought I might be running 6:30 pace, and was very surprised (and pleased) to see that I was running 5's. The second speed phase was right on target, though a good portion was downhill. The last couple of miles I ran with no shirt! The weather was just perfect out for this run. Worried about my hips... They're hurting. Especially the right side.
