early a.m. run and was horrible. Ate a large greasy Lasagna last night and was burping it up and uncomfortable and then had to stop for a big shit-the time is included in my total time, didnt subtract. Jogging slowly in the dark and wanted to stop several times and in fact, did walk a bit twice. Ran on soft trails in CP but when I hit the 13.75 mile mark, i had gotten it together a bit and psyched myself up to run a hard 6 mile loop. Did so in 6:40 pace, 40:00. I am satisfied with myself for pushing when tired but it was awful. I thought I was running fast with those 6:40's. There is no way I can do 6:45 for 26 miles. I need to rethink my marathon goals.
