Back at the cabin. I'm starting to motivate myself to run more than 1 or 2 miles a day, so I put in 3 for the last few days, and even a short swim at the gym the other day. Feeling quite out of shape so I wanna change that. Here's the short of it since the last time I logged at Noah's wedding - went to Vancouver Island for a 4 day work trip (very beautiful there, wish I wasn't so stressed about work to run more than 1 mile each morning), got covid from said work trip (basically no symptoms) which cut short a Hecht family reunion at Claire's parents' cabin, car broke down on the way to said cabin weekend, arranged a song for FS which made my quarantine time fly by, Claire started work so I'm getting the low down on school drama again, and now we're rounding out the summer with another weekend at the cabin. Looking forward to a more solid routine to get in shape, shoot for a promotion, and prepare for fatherhood. The american dream.
