Run:

We got another early start so I did this in the afternoon and went short. I honestly felt super good despite the hard workout yesterday. I did a loop around the golf course near our air bnb and just let my legs fly when they wanted. Surprised I’ve got so much energy.

Vacation:

Today was one of our few planned and paid excursions. We left our air bnb at 5:30am to drive around the island to do a 5.5 hour sail and snorkel on the Na Pali coast. Originally I thought ours didn’t go to the Na Pali coast because it started far east of eat, but it turns out that’s where they all start because the whole cliff-lined west coast is just accessible via state park trails and boat. We got to see some of the most beautiful sites. We sailed with captain Kelly and crew Sam and Kako on her boat Leila. Leila treated us pretty well. We got pretty wet sitting on the front of the boat. Overall the excursion was worth it. We didn’t expect much out of the breakfast and lunch they served us on the boat but they were both pretty tasty honestly. And they had wine, hard seltzers, soda, juice, whenever we wanted. The snorkel was a bit underwhelming but a lot of the views made up for it. Then on the drive back, we were both super tired from the alcohol and being in the sun. We looked for dole whip in like 5 different places and they were all either closed or non existent. We eventually stumbled on a place on the side of the road. Claire really enjoyed it. I thought it was aight. After a break in our air bnb and my short run, we went to Hanalei bay to see the sunset. Very beautiful. I took way too many pics of the same thing.
