Effort was a bit high lol
1. ran with Piper and she did a great job of not pulling
2. I started out with a quick cadence and just tried to maintain it and things ramped up quickly to tempo/Threshold effort.
3. Felt good to turn the legs over
4. Legs were a bit sore from lifting earlier.
5. I've clearly lost fitness as this is about 55-60 sec/mi slower than previous LT workouts even if I was pre-fatigued by lifting.
6. right foot was sore, but not painful. The 1500s with their structure actually feel better than other shoes. I actually focused most on my left leg, keeping turnover quick, knee drive high and hips level and I think that helped the right leg which usually does 65% of the work. I wonder if having an imbalanced stride is the root of a lot of my issues.
