Longer warmup - 10min ez, 15 mod, 5 solid strides. Felt good going into the tempo trying to hit 6:35/mi any way possible. Got going felt strong and decided 4x5' was out so I went 10 minutes then stopped to gasp for 2 min. Made it 5 more solid minutes then told myself to endure but at 9 minutes my stride was falling apart and I couldn't stay under 7/mi so I called it.
Adductor and hamstring didn't bother me!
I think if I would have shot for 6:40/mi I would have made the 20 minutes continuous no problem.

for recovery week, since it's also a progress check, the simple 20 min tempo west of C ave makes a lot of sense.
