started the first mile easy and let the pace creep up. Slight calf discomfort (upper/outer part) but hammy and shin was great.Tried to really relax, keep both glutes engaged and turnover up.
Legs felt resilient and strong at this point, no hip discomfort only the calf mentioned above but it was clearly testing my aerobic power a bit as I switched to 3-3 and 2-3 breathing a lot of the time.
