Notes
Talbot and I ran Butterworth at ten. I had a piece of cheesecake and some pancakes for breakfast but my iron stomach held it all in great. We went at a decent pace on the high road, then went really fast on the bike trail. We were getting around 3:20s and occasionally faster, and the 800m going into Nisbet was 3:03. The last leg was pretty hard, just to keep the good pace going and get a new course PR. Anyway, I'd say this was one of my best runs all year. It felt great to go this fast for so far easily; I was racing 2 miles at this pace in Middle School, and today I did 12. Also, Talbot and I figured that last year this pace for only 6 or 7 miles would be a really hard day, so this is a good indicator of our improvement.
