Today we did the same workout as Monday because the Middle School had a football game on the track (we were going to do 8x800). I felt a lot better overall, and got a few better times. I tried to run with my training shoes for the first 3 or 4 repeats to have some more cushioning (on Monday my knees really hurt after the workout, I think it was from the hard, dry ground). I traded with my spikes after 3-4 repeats, and my knees hurt a little bit, but the spikes were a lot lighter and faster. My outer hips were tight also. There isn't much to say about the workout except that I don't like this course because if you're in the back you go slow around the cone and lose a lot of time. Anyway, today was better than Monday and my knees hurt a little less afterward. I was still pretty sore, though.
