Bike Trail

Notes

We didn't have a meet this weekend, so we had a practice on Saturday. It was hard to get my legs moving, but after warming up and plyos, it was ok. It was a bit hard to get started after stopping at the bike trail. We ran to the bike trail and did a tempo run, which was somewhat easy. Our group was the normal one, Joe, Talbot, Matt, Mike, Winston, and I. After the first two, I felt good, and started getting tired around the 3. It wasn't far back to the trailhead, and it helped that we all recognized where we were. It was better than running on the track, obviously not as repetitive. I had a minor shin splint on the right side when we were done, but I stretched it a little before the cool down and it feels ok now. Of course, the bad part about running here is the pavement and lack of cushioning that the track provides. Anyway, it was a good workout, and we kept an even pace.
