Not a good day. 16x400 at Phillips Park. The ground was really hard, and I felt the pounding on my already-tight knees right away. My foot pain had mostly gone away. The repeats were really exhausting, just like the hills workout last week. It was kind of annoying because I was in the back of our group, so I'd lose time going around the cone. Around 10 reps, my (left) knee was starting to hurt. I was thinking about asking Coach for a break, which I should have done, but didn't. It was on and off for the rest of the workout. After, during our cool down, it hurt some, and I lagged a bit. As I began to walk with my backpack to the car and at home, it hurt when I put weight on it. I iced both of them, as the right one had the same problem but just a little bit. I think it might have come from the hard, dry ground. My hips and lower stomach muscles are all really sore, and it hurts a little to stand up and sit down. I only slept from 12-5:30 last night; I had to go to the doctor in the morning. All day I've been spacey and stuff, and I'm sure that didn't help with the workout, which also tired me out aerobically. I'll see how I feel tomorrow, maybe run with the freshman. Not a good day
