BOM forecast winds of 15-20kph. I'd have to say that, once again, they've got it totally wrong. The SW was freaking AWFUL and it was really hard pushing into it. I found the crosswind caught my bike a couple of times as well (never a nice feeling while riding on a 100kph road). Even though the average doesn't really show it, we did pretty well given how windy it was and I can't really complain (except I probably WILL complain about how bloody windy it is all the time in the Valley.....AGAIN).
