Notes

1000 time trial on the St Chris indoor track. Woke up feeling tight, especially my calves. Had to ignore all of that and focus on the task at hand. Did some AIS and headed over to the track. Did my typical WU of 20-min, drills and strides. Did something a little different in order to wake up the legs. 2 X 200 in 29.

Time trial - Molz was taking me through the first 400. We were off and I felt pretty decent. Came through 400 in 58 high. Now I was on my own and trying to relax. Came through 600 in 1:28. The next lap I was getting heavy and began to slow. 1:59 at the 800. Molz jumped back in a brought me home in 2:30. Would have like to run 2:28 but I've been working hard and my body is tired. It's good to know I can run that fast on flat legs. I've yet to do anything fast that 4:00/mile pace, other than some 29-sec 200's. I'm strong right now. It's all about getting my body feeling good and ready to go next weekend. Definitely excited!
