Friday Happy-Hour Cruise. D'Wife is working till 8, so no Friday Night Gym-Date this week. Had a very scary moment at the RR X-ing on the way back: I noticed the other night that there's not a big gap between the Eastbound NJTransit train which crosses my route about 6:36 or so and the Westbound that comes by about 2 minutes later [for reference, the morning ones are 4-6 minutes apart]. So, being the curious sort that I am, when I got to the crossing, just as the Eastbound went by, and the gates went up, I hung around to see how close the train gets, before the gates come down ... guess what? NOT that far away ... I was kinda getting worried that someone would be coming across and the gates wouldn't come down in time and I'd SEE them get Clobbered. Question Answered = I need not do THAT again
