FINAL Leg of 2012 Back to School 20K Solo Relay - Now THIS is how it's done! Well, weather-wise, at least; mostly clear skies, cool, some residual dampness on the roads from some overnight rain and lingering fog. Performance-wise: not nearly as quick as the First Leg, but not quite as slow as the last one either. The drive-train felt good, only a little sluggish at the start. Lots of happy little birds out to greet the morning sun and to cheer me along; saw a couple chipmunks scooting around by the NJ Transit fence. I saw a pair of runners trotting up Atco Ave, and it occurred to me that I didn't put my bib(s) on this whole time. No worries, they're REALLY just for the scrapbook, anyway.
