Driving rain;15-18 kt winds; roads awash to the point that I really had no shoulder to run on, forcing me eith down the middle or onto people's lawns ... what a day!!! Sad sighting by the side of the raod, however; heartbreaking really. I'm used to seeing deer, possums, raccoons, the occassional fox, beaver or muskrat. But this poor thing was once part of someone's family. The boys and girls probably spent hours and hours playing with him [her?] To just leave a skateboard by the side of the road like that, with two wheels missing ... like I said: heartbreaking
