On this warmish, grey, foggy with sprinkles threatening morning I put on my Reflecto-Vest & Team Tania blinkies ran over to see how the roosters were doing. They weren't awake quite yet when I got there, but heading back, I could hear their racket from around the corner. There must be some combination of dawn-ishness, temperature and humidity that gets them up, since I'm fairly certain that an alarm clock is not involved. A couple drops of rain rolled past while I was out, and I shook a handful of low-hanging pine branches, to further soak myself, but there weren't the continuous showers I was kind of expecting
