Ugg, what a gross run. So to start off I started at 4:30 at pretty much the hottest time of the day. In reality it wasn't that bad, but still not desirable. I was kindof hungry at the begining, but i didn't want to eat before the run, so I thought, why not bring a granola bar, bad idea. I ate it at about 60 min and it probably took about 10 minutes to get down. Really dry mouth made it just uncomfortable as hell, next time I will probably just get a gel pack or something.
I new the pace was good, but after that it just got real uncomfortable. Side acke really thirsty, knee bugging me, the works. Once I got into town I took a quick stop at DQ to get some water. Did a 20 min pick up around 6:20 finished last ten around 6:50. Overall it was a good day of effort, not too much, not too little, just uncomfortable.
