It's probably time I get some new shoes. I've been riding on this pair of lunars for some time. My hip didn't hurt today which was really good. It did a little yesterday for some reason. That is why I made sure to take today as an easy half trail run.
I am going to keep hitting 15-20 miles per week until the end of December. Then I would like to bump it up to 20-25 per week for three months. Hopefully three months later I will then be able to get to 30-35 per week. I don't want to ratchet it up too quickly. It has been several years since I have been a dedicated runner. I really don't want to get a stress reaction anytime soon. Those were terrible. The last time that happened was when I was doing 80 miles per week.
I am also going to do at least two minutes of abs every day and bump up to five minutes on work out days.
