Felt really good. Was last leg of the Frosty 50K relay. Team was in 3rd and back by alot but pushed hard the whole way. Felt like I had gears to accelerate and had a strong last mile. Had a few places where I probably could have pressed more but all and all really pleased with the effort and how I felt. Warmed up about 1.5 miles and warmed down about 1.5. 12.5K is about 7.77. 43.51 is about 5.39 pace. Was in the high 20s when the first legs started but was high 30s/low 40s by the time I ran. Sunny and not much wind. Team finished in 2.57 which was under our goal of 3 hours. Team raced well and beat 5.59 avg of winners the previous year. The WSTC and Asheville teams were just really good.
