Felt great. Temps were low 40s with wind in a few sections. Very good field and we got out quick. The mile markers were messed up so hard to tell. Did hit 2 in about 10 flat. Stayed around Mitchell and kept Dan in sight for awhile. Worked the 3rd mile which is the only uphill then kept it together on the 4th. On the 5th, drew closer to 3 fellas in front of me. Without about 200m to go, kicked really hard and passed all 3 guys. Thought I had a shot and 1 or 2 and realized I could get the 3rd and I did. Finished 9th in 25.52. Very happy with this time even if the course is a little short. Warmed up about 2.5 miles with the guys. Warmed down by running back to Barb and Xander and then finishing the 5k with them so got about 4 miles in.
