Phew! LONG run today. The hills probably made it the hardest run of my life. Ran with the team from the Marina to Yarrow Bay, then peeled off after running the Yarrow Bay Hill and came up past Watershed Park (whatever road that is). That section was a long, gradual hill. Soon after was the sharp hill up to where the bus stop is. After stopping there to grab a quick cache which I was very fortunately able to find with blind luck and not coordinates, I continued up to Metropolitan market where I made a right and went up the crappy 70th street hill before it crosses 405. From there I turned left, followed the bend onward past Lake Washington high school, then ran straight along 128th AVE home. My stomach felt empty by the end. Maybe I'll think twice about doing a half-marathon any time soon.
