Really slow run today to replace the long run. I was originally intending 12-14 or so, but Ellen had to work and due to the slippery conditions, we ended up doing a lot less. The conditions also affected the pace, since Ellen has a hard time running at normal speeds on the icy terrain. It wasn't a bad run otherwise, though my Ottawa sprain was aching quite a bit by the end for some reason. I think it's all the stabilization on the icy ground. Tomorrow starts the first day of the "real" training for the half marathon, though it's a rest day anyway.
