This was a challenging run. It was my first long run since my knees have been giving me trouble. I wanted to see how a long, slow run would affect them, before I run the half-marathon in 2 weeks. I felt twinges occasionally and a slight consistent pain in my left knee for about a kilometre around the 13 km mark. It eventually went away though. I will ahve to see how my legs feel tomorrow.
I had a bit of trouble with even this slow pace. My legs felt rubbery. Here are the potential reasons: I have had a cold for a few weeks, I did not sleep well last week, I drank two glasses of wine last night.
