I did a 4 mile tempo by the paved trail near the Airport T Station. It's about 1.7 around and loops around the track. Mostly flat with a few inclines. I ran strong. Being rested really made the difference. Splits: 6:22, 6:23, 6;18, 6:21. I wore my heart rate monitor. Heart rate at each mile: 156, 167, 170, 172 - ave: 166. I was very surprised at how fast I ran. I was hoping to go around 6:30. This workout was a confidence booster!
