The weather was beautiful. Bright sunshine. low 60's and not humid.
It was a very slow start, (9:36) as I was stiff from yesterday and then I loosened up and was fine. I did 6 x 40 second eccentric strides, followed up with 6 x 40 seconds regular strides. I gradually worked into the strides, testing my leg as I went along. I maxed out at 6:10 -6:15 pace without the leg getting any worse. This is a great sign. I;ll go a bit faster, closer to my normal stride pace next time I do these.
