After what happened yesterday, I wasn't planning on running today. But after some IT Band work with the foam roller, I felt loads better.
Eleni and I did River Nith. I backtracked and did 6 eccentric strides while she carried on in Dock Park.
I am soooo glad I went out to run as I felt no pain at all and was able to fun 7:35 pace the last mile without forcing it. So this is a very good sign that I am turning things around.
So today felt like a gift from heaven. :-)
I need to make sure to use the foam roller more consistently.
