Just really felt like garbage the whole run and the heat really got to me. Even when I made a deliberate attempt to slow the pace down, I still felt like shit. I had issues with the heat last year and should know by now that running mid-day is dumb. It's not like I'm training for Badwater or something. It's just unnecessary for me to run mid-day. The only reason I do is to get it out of the way. From now on it's mornings or evenings as even when it is hot, not having the sun beating on me makes a BIG difference. This run should not have been so tough and the effort was WAY to high for an easy run. I recovered quickly though, so everything is fine.
