Notes
Started out pretty nice, considering a certain depletion from Friday's run and Ultimate. Met Sue W and Larry DeVries at South St. and ran with them to Hwy. 2. Felt my legs getting tired by mile 6, and around mile 9 I started to get a side stitch. That slowed me down quite a bit, but it wasn't as bad as a couple of previous long runs. I think I need to eat something before long runs.
Witnessed an almost-disaster at 48 & Hwy. 2, as a car headed west ran a light full speed and almost hit two cars coming south from 48th. The car swerved and proceeded to drive west in the eastbound lanes until it drove across the median. It missed me only because I was a bit slow starting after the light changed, and I look both ways before I cross anyway.
