Much smaller turnout than last year. Northstar cross country team assisted again, but the direction could have been a lot better. I ran alongside Malcolm Salzman, who had planned to do the 1 mile, but the directions were so lacking that he passed the turnaround. He seemed to want my company, and indeed, the course was very unclear in several places. Even the 5K turnaround, while it had a table, had no one that was saying to turn unless you asked. Had to ask directions in two other places as well. Anyway, jogged along having nice conversation with Malcolm, walking a couple of times, tying his shoe, etc. I seem to be unmotivated to run further today for some reason. Maybe no long run this weekend.
