My gait felt pretty good, but my upper leg muscles felt tired. At mile 4 1/2, I finally got tired of their whining, told them to get tough, and picked up the pace for the remaining two miles of the run.
This time, I was dressed appropriately. Venus was spectacular, rising in the east. I stopped by the dog run to gaze.
